Welcome to Communication Applications! The goal this semester will be for students to understand the communication process, different types of communication and how to prepare and effectively deliver quality speeches. We will begin the semester with a more traditional classroom setting learning all the basic essentials needed to be an effective communicator. By the time we reach the mid-way point of the course students will be preparing and presenting different types of speeches to their peers in the class. For example, we will begin with an informative speech and work our way through until we wrap up the year with a group presentation/speech.
