My name is Billy Klemstein. I grew up in Comfort and graduated from Comfort High School in 1981. I attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas and received my degree in Physical Education and a Minor in English. I began my teaching/coaching career at Highland Park High School in Dallas. I have also taught/coached in Angleton and San Angelo. While at Highland Park I received my Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M at Commerce. An interesting fact about me: My ancestors settled in Comfort in the 1860s.
I have seventeen years of experience in teaching/coaching in the state of Texas. I am also a licensed real estate agent and hang my hat at Comfort Land & Homes here in Comfort. I am married to the middle school librarian, Jodi Klemstein, and have three kids currently in Comfort schools. Jake is a senior, Kara is a sophomore, and Kate is an eighth grader.
