PHYSICAL EDUCATION, AEROBICS, TEAM SPORTS, INDIVIUAL SPORTS

EXPECTED STUDENT OUTCOMES: The student will be expected to:

1. Participate in fitness and conditioning activities that develop total fitness.
2. Participate in physical fitness testing and appraisal.
3. Participate with other students in individual, dual, and team sports.
4. Develop new and more complex skills needed for success in games and sports.
5. Practice behavior reflective of good sportsmanship.
6. Participate and acquire the knowledge and skills for leisure and varied physical recreational activities that could be continued throughout life.
7. Practice good personal hygiene daily.


COURSE CONTENT: (The schedule of events are basic and may be added to or changed to best meet the needs of the students. The following units are not in order; it depends on the availability of equipment, facilities, and weather.)
1. Aerobics
2. Basketball
3. Flag Football
4. Frisbie Throwing
5. Kickball
6. Physical Fitness Testing
7. Soccer
8. Softball
9. Power Walking
10. Volleyball
11. Weight-lifting
