Hello, my name is Melissa Dunbar and I have been teaching at CMS since 2003. I love to read, write, fish, swim, search for gems, research different cultures, and scuba dive. I was raised on a ranch in Junction, Texas, but have traveled to Cozumel, San Miguel de Allende, Progresso, Guanajuato, Patzcuaro, Zacatecas, Mexico; Jamaica; Cayman Islands;Hawaii; New Mexico; Utah; Oklahoma; and Colorado. I am very proud of my Choctaw Indian heritage and vote in tribal elections. Things I dislike are bullies and negative attitudes. Life is much easier when everyone gets along and has a positive attitude.
Our class is a safe zone and everyone is free to express their opinions and answer questions free from ridicule and negative feed back. Our mission is to learn in an environment where students feel safe and loved. All students must give 100% every day and do all they can to succeed.
