Dear Learners and Parents,

Welcome to the study of Biology! In this course, we will examine the origin of life and the changes that have taken place since. With technological advances and new scientific discoveries being made every day, studying biology is continuously becoming more curious and exciting. In addition to traditional pencil and paper tests to prepare for the grade Science TAKS Exam, each student will compile a portfolio of products throughout the year. The portfolio will function as a review guide for the 10th and 11th grade Science TAKS tests, and must therefore be 100% complete in serve its purpose. Thank you in advance for the opportunity to not only teach but experience with you the field of Biology.
